Hastings Student Housing

This proposal imagines student housing and commercial space on a vacant site in downtown Vancouver. Two blocks of apartments are arranged around a central atrium, allowing daylight to reach the ground floor and the party wall of an adjacent building. The alley is reactivated by a space for food trucks, storefronts and access to a student-operated performance space. Penthouse levels house student amenity spaces, including a small pool, study hall and cafeteria.
